How Do You Cure Deadly Boredom? With a Double Dose of Hit Series House & CSI: NY.
May 25, 2008
Singapore - With two US hit shows - House and CSI:NY- returning first and exclusively on AXN with their latest seasons this June bearing even more scintillating drama and some seriously bizarre cases, we are certain you will be feeling the buzz. In medical detective drama, House, the caustic Dr. Gregory House faces an empty nest when his team of doctors Foreman (Omar Epps), Chase (Jesse Spencer), and Cameron (Jennifer Morrison) leave; while the seasoned New York CSI team begins to see crimes in their city escalate and problems getting deadly personal.
House
Tune in to the brand new season of House when it premieres 2 June 2008, Every Monday @ 10pm (SG, MY, PH, TH) 11pm (HK), 9pm (JKT) exclusively on AXN. The latest season 4 of the Emmy award-winning drama brings on more bizarre medical maladies that stump even the medical genius Dr. House (multi-Golden Globe award-winning Hugh Laurie). From having to cure a psychiatrist stuck in the South Pole via webcam; and attempting to diagnose a gravely-ill CIA agent whose medical history and previous assignments are deemed beyond House's "need to know," Dr. House's diagnostic and leadership abilities are challenged.
Since having fired one of his infectious disease specialists and having the other two members of his four-man team quit on him, House is running on empty, prompting his boss Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein) to insist that he take on a new batch of fellowship candidates. As a result, Dr. House kickstarts a massive 'house cleaning' project by putting candidates through bizarre scenarios, whittling down those willing to work with him from forty to five! One of the lucky few is the hilarious Kal Penn (from Harold And Kumar) as Dr. Lawrence Kutner, a sports medicine specialist, who is completely unprepared for House's ever erratic eccentricities.
Meanwhile, House's best friend and fellow doctor Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard) begins dating a female companion whose personality is remarkably similar to House's - bringing all the more trouble to the hospital.
CSI: NY
Brand new CSI: NY season 4 begins June 10, Every Tuesday at 10pm (SG, MY, PH, TH), 11pm (HK), 9pm (JKT) exclusively on AXN. In this new season, the problems are not empty houses but frighteningly infiltrated ones. An obsessive stalker begins to prank-call Detective Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) at his personal number and sends him bloody T-shirts and a blood-spotted puzzle of the New York skyline. Teammate detective Stella Bonasera (Melina Kanakaredes) too becomes a home-target when her apartment is set alight and a dead body is found when the flames have been extinguished. Even the Lady Liberty herself is breached by mysterious assailants, when the first call of duty for the CSIs this season has the team staring at the statue of Liberty crying tears of blood.
Just as disconcerting and mystifying, the New York CSIs are put to the test as they face a high-tech would-be James Bond thief with a license to thrill; some deep water divers seeking underwater fortunes and leaving bodies in their wakes; and a digital hitman who is set to kill in both first and Second Life. How much more will these forensic investigators be able to take before they throw in the towel?
Don't miss a minute of the new season that follows the Crime Scene Investigators of New York as their cases escalate, taking them on a whirlwind tour round America, finally back to the place where it all began: the fast, furious, and too often fatal city of New York.
Get stuck in the latest ills and thrills from the doctors and detectives on House and CSI: NY this June, first and exclusively on AXN!
